Rare AC Gilbert Erector set No. 12 1/2. This very nice erector set comes with lots of pieces. I have taken pictures of most of the pieces and can email those that are not seen in this listing. The red metal box has the decal on the front with a little missing on the right hand side (about 1/2"). The back side of the case has some stains/paint loss .The interior cardboard sign has a few small holes and a piece missing out of the lower left corner. The original 1948 book is included but is in fair shape. It is held together with tape and was consulted much over the years. This is a played with set but not abused. I don't know exactly what goes with this set so it is sold "as is" and probably incomplete. There are lots of girders, gears, angles, base plates, wheels, pulleys, screws and nuts. Three parts cans with various small pieces. There are four parachutists (good condition) and six red plastic carousel horses (some warped).

Very rare robot A.C. Gilbert robot erector set. This erector set is copyright 1948. It has been well played with. Hopefully the pictures show the overall condition. I am no expert on these toys and don't know what parts are supposed to come with this set - no guarantees as to it's completeness. This is just how I received the set. There are multiple wheels, 4 small electric motors, one electric engine, numerous nuts and bolts, a small pamphlet, and multiple flat metal grids to build your projects from.
